Long and busy and productive...

Last week turned out to be a long busy week!! Scrapfabulous was having a week long crop that I partcipated in some. I got a couple of cards and a few layouts done with them and I also won Bingo!! Who-hoo!! I got 2 kits in the mail this week to play with, one being my kit for my guest design team spot over at Creative Scrap Shack...it is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!! I'm so in love with this kit!! It's Daisy D's new line of paper called chasing butterflies and it's right up my alley...the other one is from my monthly kit club at the Scrapbook Nook...They sent me the new Crate Paper Samantha collection. I must say i've NEVER seen so much purple in one spot...they even included a bag of purple buttons!! It's a pretty line, its just like nothing i've ever worked with before...I'm excited for the challenge though!! On Saturday I went to a Creating Keepsakes Convention which was way fun...It was like going to a gigantic scrapbooking store!! I wished I could have had someone to go with me but I'll get what I can -- when I can!! Hopefully they will come back next year!! I'll totally go again!! I was able to finally find some paper made by my wonderfully talented BFF Amber at the convention...I made a layout last night with it!! I also found some of the new BG Scarlets letter collection of paper...That made me super happy!! Lily has been sick this week and I've been doing my darndest to not catch her cold but to no avail....I'm been feeling sick and lazy the past couple of days...my ears have been playing tricks on me and throwing off my equilibrium (there must be a ton of pressure built up behind them!!) its left me unable to concentrate...i just feel dizzy!! Oh well!! Today i have NOTHING planned so i'm looking forward to playing with all my new goodies...That makes me a happy camper!! Just a note on this layout...it was made for a contest over at The Scrapbook Nook to take a letter and 3 topics and create a layout...for this layout the letter was "R" and the topics were Color (I chose the rose color in the PP), Trend (I chose Rhinestones), and an object found (I made those butterflies from a rubberband...pretty crafty if i do say so myself...those little buggers wouldn't glue together but I'm glad I finally made them work!!) Ok, well bye bye for now!! :)
