My Everyday Bits and Pieces: HOLLA!!!

Hi it's me again...I'm all by my lonesome this weekend...Ben is on a camping trip learning how to white water raft....well it's more like a refresher course and now he can be officially certified for it....He went with his dad so I'm sure he's having fun!! I guess it's only fair since I'll be going to Atlanta in July with my friend Amber for an all girls weekend!! There is a big scrapbooking convention....OH MAN!! I'm so excited!! YEAH FOR ME!! I also have a couple tid-bits of good news!! First I was just asked to be on the Creative Digital Design Team for Scrapgalazy!! I totally wasn't expecting that because I tried out for their paper DT but They must have seen something they liked about my digital work!! YEAH!! I can't wait!! I also just found out I'm going to be doing a layout for Becky Fleck's Page Maps July newsletter!! YEAH!!! I enjoy looking at her sketches and have used them often to help me when I need some inspiration...love it!!

So we had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend...my in-laws just put in a brand new underground pool so we got to break it in!! TWe had a big old pool party/bar-b-que....the kids were in heaven!! It's amazing how nice a pool can be when there aren't a hundred people you've never seen before running around!! We all got a little sun and wouldn't you know I FORGOT MY CAMERA!! I wanted to kick myself because Porter got brave and wanted to jump off the diving board into my father-in-laws arms!! It was so cute!! He had on a life-vest (Don't worry Dad-I made sure he was safe first!!) But right after he came back up from landing in the water, he decided he didn't want to do it again!! He's so silly!! Lily was so cute in her little bathing suit...We will DEFINANTLY be going there alot so i'll be sure and get photo's then!!

I've done a couple layouts this week...One digi and one paper (thanks Dawne for all your help and advice!!) I'm happy with how they turned out....my mojo has been on the fritz these past couple of weeks but I'm bound and determined to turn all that around!! Scrapfabulous has started up a new challenge to begin a BOM (Book of Me) and I think that might be the motivation I need...or at least I hope it is!! Plus I have those super cute pics. of my kids from the last post I still need to scrap...I'm sure it'll come back to me!! It has too!! Anyway.... Here is the paper layout (I did it for the first challenge at Creative Scrap Shack for the Big Kahuna Contest...we had to use 4 photos, chipboard, bling and buttons...whatcha think??)
