So, it's been awhile...

Sorry about that but I have a good excuse!! Ben's Grandpa died this past week so this weekend has been full of spending time with his family who is in town and going to the funeral, and luncheons and get togethers and all that good stuff...It's been good but very tiring....I have slept like a rock the past two nights!! It's been great!! I am so glad I got to see family we haven't seen in a few years and it was very good to celebrate the life of a wonderful man....He's in a much better place!! Funerals are always hard...I get so emotional thinking about all the people that have died in my life and it makes my heart heavy. Thank goodness for the company of family and their happy faces....it sure can soothe my heavy heart!!

I've finally been able to sit down and scrap!! YAY FOR ME!! I still have one more layout to do as well as Father's day cards before Saturday...I'm thinking i'm going to be a little busy tonight and tomorrow!! Wish me luck!! I am pretty happy with the layouts i've done...I have done another digital layout that I can't show you yet until July, but it turned out beautiful!! I can't wait to show it off!! :) Anyway here are a couple I've done:

This one is for the Big Kahuna challenge going on at CSS...it was to scraplift one of the DT member's layouts using monthly kits...I chose this layout by Kimberly Crawford....my layout doesn't look exactly like it but I was inspired by her photo placement and the grouping of flowers:

This next layout is for my AAM (all about me) album for the challenge they have going on at Scrapfabulous....It's about how me and Ben met....Click HERE if you want to read the journaling:

Anyway...there is some eye candy...I promise i'll be a better blogger and write more often!! For now though, I must run so I can make some dinner...*Sigh*...I'll pay someone to come make it for me!! Any takers???

I love your layout and BOM album. Too cute! I'm very sorry about your dh's Grandfather. It's so great you were able to celebrate his life. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
