I offer no excuse....

I offer no excuse for my absence except this: I would have written 3-4 days ago BUT Ben decided to reformat the hard drive on my computer so technically I haven't had access to my computer.... :) Is that a good enough excuse?? I also have been avoiding the internet for the past few days...it turned out to be rather refreshing.... :)

Any-who - would you believe I still haven't done alot of scrapbooking?? What is my dang problem....I did make a couple layouts this week one digital and one paper but that's it....Well I started another layout last week as well but haven't finished it....I pulled out some more Daisy Bucket paper for that one...hopefully I can finish it up today!! In other news I can't wait to get my October kit from My Scrapbook Nook....I mean seriously....look at this thing:



How gorgeous is it?? If you are interested in getting it, do it quick because they have a habit of selling out quickly and if you do sign up tell them I referred you!! :)

Now for my rundown of things for the week:

1- Porter will be turning 5 years old next Monday....This makes me sad....My baby boy is getting so old...*sniff* Thankfully, he such a sweet boy...I'm so grateful/happy/proud that he's mine...It's also nice that he'll still come and sit on my lap....boy will I miss that when it goes away...

**On a side note: Ben's birthday is on Friday so if you see him or talk to him, rub it in that he is going to be 30.....it'll be fun!! :)

2- It's premiere week on television....YAY!! Heroes was awesome!! Can't wait for Grey's to start on Thursday as well as The Office...It'll be a good week....the only bad part is that I completely spaced watching the America's Next Top Model premiere...it's my secret television vice....I was so sad that I missed it...I was also bummed to hear that Lost, Jericho and October Road don't start until next year....That's just cruel.... :)

3- I can't wait till its cold outside and I can get cozy in my jeans and a sweatshirt....My most favorite thing about the changing seasons is that I get to change my wardrobe as well!! I miss my jeans!! :)

4- My daughter has been in rare form lately....Who knew the "sneaky, terrible two's" would sh
ow up in an instant?? Not I!! Yesterday alone she wrote all over herself and her clothes with a red pen, Got in my lotion and covered herself and her second outfit of the day with a thick layer of lotion, Threw a royal fit in the middle of Hobby Lobby complete with grabbing stuff off of shelves and hucking it at anyone in her way, only to come home and find her sneaking into the cat food and eating it....That stuff is non-toxic right??

Children....Its a good thing she's so dang cute....

5- I want to cut my hair....anyone have any suggestions?? I want to keep some of the length but not all of it....if you find any cute hairstyles PLEASE let me know!! :)

Oh goodness I almost forgot to post my layouts I've done...

And here is the paper one I did....I created a challenge over on the Nook's message board for this one...it was to make a layout where the edges weren't completely square, the title needs to be spread across the photo, use a stamp somewhere, handwritten journaling, some flowers and some staples...I really like how my layout turned out!!

Well my kids have now managed to pull down the canopy over my daughter's bed...I have NO CLUE how they got up that high BUT I must go and "tend" to them....Stinkers....
