Fire, flowers, eggs and a card....

So today was rather crazy...There was a fire right outside my apartment...Like walk 10-15 steps and you get to the woods - fire.... Ben and James were outside and they saw what looked like a small flame...Ben ran over saw the fire and ran inside the apt. to get a bucket of water...by the time he took 2 buckets out it was HUGE!! He called the fire department right away...I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

So someone decided to throw this out their car window:

And then it got bigger,

and bigger,

And even bigger!!

Yay!! The fire department came!!

The fire was creeping up to the top of the trees so they brought out the big "guns":

So there you go...that was my crazy afternoon...All I can say is thank goodness Ben and James went outside when they did...There is acres of forest back there...it could have been one nasty fire!!

So moving on...Easter was fun...we did an Easter egg hunt on the Saturday before....It was pretty cold but the kids enjoyed themselves...So dang cute these two!! :)
