I'm not sure where my style is headed on those two layouts, but I think I need to re-evaluate what I got going on here and work on getting back to the point where I was really loving my work....I do like this card though:

In other news - We've had a bout of sickness roll through here...Earaches, coughs, sore throats and runny noses...It's made for some very long nights this past week, but thankfully we seem to be on the mend!! I never did tell you guys that I registered Porter for Kindergarten a little over a week ago...It made me sad but he is so excited!! The school he is going to is so nice too which makes it even better...I just wonder how Lily is going to be able to handle it!! She always has to be where Porter is so I think that first week might be hard for her to understand she can't go to school with him...Poor thing!! Whenever he is away from her she always tells me, "Momma, Porter is my best friend, where is he?" So dang cute!! Speaking of Lily I must be an awful parent because I never mentioned her birthday!! She is officially three now...It seriously goes by too fast...Not quite my little baby anymore!!
The whole day she didn't want to be sung too and she didn't want her picture taken....I guess she really is three!! When I asked her what kind of presents she wanted for her birthday she said "Nothing!" Somehow I didn't believe her so we got her a barbie doll that came with a little baby...She LOVED it!!
She calls the big one girl and the smaller one a princess....I just love her!! So happy belated birthday my sweet Lily Rose!! :)

Wow! I can't believe how fast your chillins are growing up! Has it really been that long since you were first pregnant? Wow! Well, good luck, and I hope you all get feeling better!
I love the layouts. I've always told you my motto "Simplicity rules all things worth while." Maybe you're "evolving." Or you could just be pregnant and too dang tired!
I love the "pretty ponytail" layout with the soft colors and the design is lovely. You are amazingly good at getting that "flow" on your work
