Cleaning shop...

So how do you like the new blog?? I made the background myself using a digital kit from Designs by Krista...I'm so very proud of myself!! :) I like having a fresh new blog...it's a good feeling!!

So I've been so super busy...we've had so much going on for sure!! First I'll show you a couple things I've made...

I made this using the AMAZING August kit from My Scrapbook Nook...Porter ADORES this little bunny...I love his face in the pictures...You can really see how much he loves KJ!!


I made this layout for the UBER amazing Zarah and her Scrappy Sketch blog...she asked me to help her out and here is my first layout using one of her sketches:

I got a box in the mail stuff with all brand new Daisy Bucket Designs product...It so very yummy!! I can't wait to dive in and just create!! Nothing like new products to boost your mojo!!

In other news, it's been a crazy past few days...Wednesday our apartment was broken into...such a horrible feeling!! The "Jacker's" (which we have now dubbed them thanks to Porter) didn't get much besides our Xbox and some games (from what we can tell they were in the house when I pulled into the parking lot and was walking to my door) but they did manage to take all of my precious jewelry including my wedding ring, engagement ring, a beautiful saphire necklace I had receieved for Christmas, a pearl and gold pin that used to be my grandmother's, my turquoise necklace I got for my 1st wedding anniversary, my daughter's bracelets she got when she was a baby, a bracelet my MIL made that had my kids' names on it as well as many other sentimental pieces that meant the world to me....I'm so devastated....How can people be so hurtful?? :( I am thankful we weren't home for sure but still...my wedding ring!! I desperately miss all of it and can't stop thinking about the fact that I don't have any jewelry anymore...I also hate that now I'm scared to leave my house...Dumb Jacker's!! I do have to tell you what Porter did after he realized what was going on...He ran into his room and came out holding KJ (from layout above)....He then came up to me and said, "Mom, I'm so glad the Jacker's didn't take my bunny....I love him so very much!" and then he just started crying!! Talk about BREAK YOUR HEART!! I just hugged him and told him I was happy KJ was safe too...I'm glad we all were safe!

Speaking of Porter he goes to school on Monday...I think I might cry.

We found out who his teacher was today and they are having a school "get to know you night" on Sunday so we'll be going there but he just seems too little to be all on his own!! I'll be praying so very hard this weekend!! Lily keeps asking about him going to school...I think she'll miss him even more!! I'm going to need lots of things to keep her busy while he's gone!!

My brother leaves tomorrow...It'll be sad to see him go - we've had lots of fun!! We are even going to a race-car thing tonight and hanging out downtown....It should be lots of fun (I hope)...I just pray my pregnant body stays strong!! I went to the Doctor this week and found out I'm anemic so that does explain my constant thirst for water and my feeling like I just ran a marathon when all I really did was put the dishes in the dishwasher...Thankfully it's easily fixed... :)

I also read Breaking Dawn this week...so not what I was expecting and I definintely had some jaw dropping moments but it was for sure a good book...Now what will I read??!? I also need to add that I turned my hubby to the dark side too...He loves it just as much, so if you are still in doubt over this series you should give it a try!!

Well I think I'm going to end for now...I need to figure out what to make for dinner and go force the kids to clean up their room...Easier said than done I'm sure!! Have a wonderful night!! :)
