I've been trapped in Mom land!!

So apparently kids are a lot of work....LOL!! I completely forgot how much a newborn really needs....I also forgot how sweet and precious they are...so much fun!! The past month has pretty much blurred into a big fog where I'm just trying to figure out what day today is....We've been sick now for the past week in a half...it started out with Lily getting pneumonia and a ear infection (the pneumonia was just a small case of it)...then a couple days later Emmett started coughing so I take him to the doctor to find out he has bronchiolitis (mostly involves me giving him breathing treatments every 4 hours for his VERY bad cough...its scary!!)...then the following day I get a phone call from Porter's school saying he has a fever and a bad cough so he caught pneumonia from Lily...then today Emmett is still sounding pretty bad so I take him back to the doctor and it turns out he has got a double ear infection on top of the bronchiolitis....So between sickness and constant doctor's office visits and trips to the pharmacy, it's been a VERY long past couple weeks...Anyone want to take me away on a vacation?!?!

In other news Emmett is 7-1/2 weeks now....my how time flies huh?? He's pretty cute:

I think I'll keep him!! :) He's got colic and reflux pretty bad on top of being sick, so that's been rough....poor little boy has had a very hard life so far - bless his heart!!

In other news, I got my pretty Christmas tree up...I'm so glad it's Christmas time!! Its my most favorite season....I've really enjoyed listening to Christmas music while I take Porter to and from School...its even funner when they sing along to the songs!! Ben and I went and saw Twilight a few weeks ago....it made my heart happy!! We also took the kids to see Bolt....that was a pretty cute movie...I loved the hamster...he was hilarious!! Ben has also been a little under the weather as well...I think my non stop running from one task to the next is the only thing keeping me not sick - *knock on wood*!! I was also without my battery charger for my camera for the past few weeks...talk about losing a limb!! I was lost without my camera and I'm really sad at all of the cute pictures I missed out on...Emmett is growing way to fast!! He is starting to coo and smile now...I absolutely adore this stage!! Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to bid you adieu...I must get all the kids ready for bed and then go take a long hot shower and then go to bed myself....I'm getting giddy just thinking about it!!
