*sneaks a post in hoping no one has noticed how long it's been....

Boo....did I scare ya?? Hehe!! Hi there its me...the long lost author of this beautiful blog...did ya miss me?? Well, truth be told, things have been kinda busy for us but wouldn't you know it - I don't have much to show for it...haha....We have mostly been out and about doing Christmas shopping (EEK!! So early eh??) BUT, I'll have you know that we are done (mostly, unless something jumps at us) buying presents for the kids...we ended up selling our Wii (EEK!! What were we thinking??) BUT me and the hubby both decided it was a good thing since we never played it....ever!! We are more XBox 360 people...(Guitar Hero anyone??) So I'm very happy that when the end of November hits I don't have to stress about where we are going to find some $$$ to buy kids presents...WHO-HOO!!

I also have a sneaky peak for you!! I just got my beautimus November kit from My Scrapbook Nook....SO PRETTY!! They included an acrylic mini-album from Maya Road...I just barely finished the cover so here is a fun little peek!! :)

You likey?? Sorry the color is HORRIBLE but it's late here and I have no natural sun light to showcase this pretty little kit....I'll post the rest when i finish it, rest assured... :)

In non-scrappy family news last Saturday my little family and I went to my father-in-law's Ward Trunk-or-Treat party...it was so much fun...(for those that don't know what "trunk-or-treat" is, it's like trick-or-treat but instead of going door to door all the people at the party line up their cars and decorate them and you go car-to-car...so much more fun in my opinion than running around my apartment complex...SCARY!!) Porter had the time of his life!! We found a cute Zorro costume for him...He was in love...the second we put it on him he was so serious and he went straight into character...check out this picture i snapped of him...Oh how i love him!!

The absolute complete opposite was my sweet little girl....she was completely over it...she hated her costume..she didn't want to walk from car to car (she only made it to about 3 - i made porter go around twice to make up for it...hehehe....sneaky me!!) The only thing she did love was her princess trick-or-treat bag and telling me "NO!" so....bless her little heart... :)

Well that has been life in a nutshell lately....Not much to show for what 2-3 weeks, huh?!?! OOOH!! I almost forgot to mention...I'm doing a blog giveaway!! I have a little mini-album I'll be sending to one lucky person...SOOOO watch for a post in the next couple days where I'll post a picture of it and then I'll draw a name from the comments!! :) YAY!!
