Holla if you hear me!!

So, I've been pretty productive scrappy wise as of recent...this makes me happy....I'm not nearly as crabby when I get my creative juices flowing...(just ask Ben!!) I also got some way cute pics of my kids as well....It's been a good week...I'll start off my showing you the fruits of my labor:

So YAY!! Hope you like looking at the fun stuff... :) On the home front things are going pretty well...it's been getting pretty cold around here...I love getting cozy in my hoodies!! :) The other night we went out to dinner at the new Olive Garden that just got built by where we live...We had the WORST experience!! Our waiter forgot everything and when he actually remembered something it was the wrong thing....SHEESH!! We just had to laugh about it because we had waited and saved to go there (because Olive Garden is NOT cheap) and it was a complete disaster...all was not lost though, Ben wanted to make the manager aware of how incompetent one of his employee's was and in the process he gave us a $40 gift card to come back....We didn't want to accept it because that isn't why we were complaining (to get free stuff) we just didn't want the same thing to happen to someone else you know?? We finally accepted it when the manager said this "You came here for an experience and you didn't receive it...we want you to come back so we can show you it's still possible to enjoy eating here"....I liked that answer because it is completely true so now we have $40 to eat anything we want at Olive Garden....anyone want to come with??? :)

Oh...I also got tagged awhile back my one of my fellow DT member's Mirelle....so I'll finish up this blog entry with that...

7 Random/weird things about myself:

1- I hate driving on the freeway's as a passenger...I usually have to be doing my Sudoku or crossword puzzles when driving...I think it really just boils down to me wanting to have control and when I don't I freak out....driving really amplifies it!!
2- I am super quite in social situations unless I know you...if I know you, you can't get me to shut my mouth!! I always am afraid people think I'm snotty when I am really just shy and a big fat chicken....
3- I haven't been able to wear lipstick since I was pregnant with my daughter...I used to wear lipstick all the time...if I put any on now, my lips get eaten alive!! It makes me sad sometimes....I really like to wear lipstick!! (Make-up is the same way...I used to wear eyeliner, blush, powder everything....Now I can only wear a little bit of foundation and mascara w/ the occasional eye shadow....darn skin allergies!!)
4- I ALWAYS wear silver hoop earings in my ears...it is rare you'll find me wearing something else...I usually only wear different ones on special occasions...
5- I ALWAYS wear toe rings on my toes....I have since high school....I'm not sure why either...lol!!
6- I still love bologna even though I know what it's made of....
7- I buy teddy graham's for the "kids" everytime I get groceries but for some reason they never get any because Mommy eats them all.... :) (WHAT?!?! She can't help it...those chocolate chip ones just scream "eat me!!".....thankfully they are low in fat and high in whole grain...it's a healthy choice!! lol!!)
