Guess what...

Look at what we brought home last night:




A little background...I have sworn up and down my entire life I would NEVER own a mini-van...My parents will vouch for me...I think it stems from being in high school and after just newly recieving my drivers license having to drive my parents mini-van places....I think i was just emotionally scarred because seriously, what high school girl looks cute driving a mini-van right?!? Well fast forward to today when we found this baby....we came across her 3 days ago and have been in negotiations with the car dealership ever since...We reached a compromise and last night we came home with her....I'm almost embarrassed to admit that she makes me a little giddy inside....She's very pretty....here are he stats (I know you'll want to know them Dad...): 2004 Mazda MPV, tan leather seats, automatic sliding doors, fold down and store back seats, 6 disc in-dash CD player, steering wheel radio controls, and the best part - she only has 19,400 miles.... :) Bless the heart of the little old lady who traded her in...This will be our car for the next 10+ years and I couldn't be happier... :)

In OTHER news I want to apologize for how long it has taken me to write something...last week our entire family was out with vomiting and upset tummy's'....All of us spent last Friday and Saturday laying out on the couches with our vomit bowls in hand...it was SOOOO not fun!! It was such a long week....I wasn't able to do much of anything so sadly I don't have any new projects to show you!! Ben's friend Jafir also came for a visit this week...he's been here since Monday so I really haven't had a whole lot of time to do much of anything....I started a layout a couple days ago but have yet to finish it....Maybe today.... :)

The next week is going to be very busy...First I'll be getting this pretty thing in the mail:

I will also be getting a huge box of stuff in the mail from Daisy Bucket Designs....With Spring CHA coming up they have come out with 3 new lines and some fancy new product...They will be posting a sneak on their blog soon but I'll get to make some fun stuff for CHA....I'm so excited!! :)

There is also a virtual crop coming up over at the Nook...You should come join us for the fun!! It'll be on February 1st through the 3rd and we have tons of games and challenges for you to do. Check out this thread for some challenges already posted that have some awesome prizes!! :)

Anyway I think I've pretty much filled you in on the happenings for my life so far...I wish I could show you something pretty I've made...Alas I cannot..I can show you these (Technically I did make that pretty little girl and handsome little boy):
