Boo!!

Hi there!! It's me...its been a pretty eventful past few days...You wouldn't really be able to tell if I told you but, that's how it goes sometimes I guess...A few days ago we had some HUGE storms roll though...it was crazy! Tornado warnings, 2 inches of rain in less than 30 minutes...I got a little freaked out there for a minute but that's only because I didn't know a storm was on it's way...I don't like being caught off guard...Here is a view from my back porch...all the apartments in my complex are built in a circle around this valley...I like that I don't have to stare at any neighbors... :)

There was SO much rain!! The next day was much better and I was able to snap this photo...it was so much prettier in real life!!


I've also been pretty busy over at The Nook....first off check out the home page....Yup! That's my layout!! :) Also they've been having a DT call over there since our 6 month term was over....I reapplied because, come on....I LOVE this place!! Leah puts together the prettiest kits and everyone is so nice and sweet on the message board...Anyway the way they do the DT call is you apply and they go and pick their top 20 and we go through a trial period...this is where Leah sees who meshes well and posts challenges for us to see some more of our work...So after the trial period she announced the DT and quess what?? I made it again!! YAY!! I'm so excited!! I am completely serious when I say I LOVE THE NOOK!! :) Leah picked out a fabulous team and I'm so happy I get to work with such talent....You can see the other girls HERE....

I made this card for a small challenge for a mini-crop at the Nook using Daisy Bucket Paper...I really love how it turned out:


I made this layout for a small challenge for the same mini-crop over at the Nook to take a picture of yourself that night and scrap about what you were doing....not my most favorite but its done:


I also put together this baby for a class using the January kit for the Nook....I altered some wooden drawers I bought from IKEA....I am so loving how they turned out....my new favorite!!
