Strike 3 and I'm out....

I'm sick again...would you believe it?? This time is by far the worst of the last couple times....I swear I'm so OVER being sick!! *grumble, grumble*....Lily has pretty nasty cough right now too poor thing...Lets hope it ends SOON!! Its very hard to scrap with a runny nose!! :)

I was able to get a few things done this past week....here is a layout using the BEAUTIFUL January kit from My Scrapbook Nook....I swear...I love this kit so much!! I'm having such a hard time cutting into all the papers!!


Here is a Valentines day card using some Daisy Bucket Designs Paper and Ribbon elements...Love their ribbon elements...its paper ribbon that you can tear, shred, curl, seperate, paint, etc....it's way cool stuff!!

I seem to remember making something else but I can't recall what it could be in my sickly state....Oh well....Sadly, I can't think of much else to write...My brain is in a fuzz...I think I'm going to end this with a couple things I'm thankful for at the moment:

1- I'm so thankful for little girls who curl up in your lap and say "Momma, I'm safe here with you"...I love her so much...
2- The weather has been so crazy here lately...we had a couple of days where it was in the 20's...I'm so thankful for my big fluffy coat when I go places...I don't like being cold!!
3- I'm so thankful for my nice memory foam mattress bed...it has made such a difference in my life!! I don't hobble about like an old woman when I get out of bed anymore!!
4- I was watching Porter drawing the other day and he spelled out M-O-M....I asked him what he wrote and he said, "Mom, that's you!!" Then he proceeded to draw me right next to it...I love him so much...I'm so thankful he is learning!!
5- I've been slowly organizing my desk area and have realized how much stuff I do have...I'm so thankful my hubby lets me buy it all...Its the little things that make me happy!! :)

With that I wish you all a fabulous rest of the day...I'm going to go lay down on the couch and watch a movie with Porter....He asked me so sweetly, I can't refuse!! :)
