First this layout about Lily...she really is growing up too fast!!

I love how it turned out and it only took me an hour to make!! I love when that happens!!
For this layout I actually made a class about it for a fun way to use the hinge that came in the kit. Here is the actual layout:

And this is where it opens:

And this is what it looks like completely open...

If you want to see the class for it LOOK HERE. :)
This is a wall hanging I made for my Dad awhile ago...sorry you haven't gotten it yet...I swear I'm going to post office this week!! :)

That wall hanging is built off a piece of acetate...the picture and the paper are behind the plastic part while the flower and ribbon are on top...I love how it turned out!! :)
In other news we are doing pretty good....We had an awesome fourth of July except for one minor incident....Porter went missing for about 25 minutes!! It was my worst nightmare!! It was getting pretty dark and they were going to start the fireworks...they were the big, shoot into the sky kind of fireworks, so I called the kids to stay in the yard with me and Ben...I got talking to one of my friends for a couple minutes and then they started the fireworks....They were very loud so I was looking around for Porter to makes sure he wasn't scared or anything and I couldn't see him anywhere...I called Ben over and asked him to look in the house and the play area they had just across the way where Porter had been spending alot of his time....Ben walks around looking and - no Porter....Ok, well we look in the back yard and in the house again and still no Porter...this was about 10 minutes and I started to panic....Ben asks to look in the neighbor's yards and houses and I ask people to start looking for him and so now there are a bunch of us all calling and running around....20 minutes and still no Porter...Ok - now I'm starting to lose it....We keep going around and around all the places we had seen him and on my pass back to the house of where we were staying, my friend Keena yells I found him!! Guess where this little stinker was?? In the bathroom going potty!! (#2 in case you care...lol) OH MY WORD!! There were 3 people who had knocked on the bathroom door and he never said a word to them!! What a little stinker!! All my adrenaline and panic rose to the top and I was bawling naturally which made him upset but after squeezing his guts out and giving him a talking to about the importance of telling Mommy where he is going all was well....Needless to say I am SOOOOOOOO grateful we found him and I pray that experience NEVER happens to me again!! Funny part of it was that Keena who had been holding Lily asked her where Porter may have gone...First she said "He's sleeping" but after Keena said he wasn't sleeping she said, "Maybe he's going potty?" So she checked....She sure is smart!! Thank goodness Keena listened!! Thank you!! :)
Other than that crazy night we are doing well...we have been fighting the runny nose/cough bug and I think I'm being the biggest baby about it!! Pregnancy does make colds worse though althought I don't think its a cold...I'm fairly sure it's allergies all around!!!
OH!! My younger brother Blake will be coming and staying with us for almost 3 weeks....I'm so excited!! It will be his first time on a plane and basically his first time going anywhere far away....Porter already can't wait!! He tells me all the different things he wants to build with him with his legos when he gets here...I love it!!
Ok, well I think that is pretty much all I have to say for now...I'm getting sleepy!! Peace out!! :)

Beautiful stuff! LOVE that photo of Lily!
...and ouch - I can see why you were scared when Porter went missing! I'm glad he wasn't MORE gone than he was!!
Beautiful pictures of the kids.
Jessica was about two when she decided she would go play with some children she had seen from our backyard. I had left her to play in the sandbox while I in the house to get a load of laundry to hang up. You have to understand. I thought she couldn't get out because there was no gate on the fence and the only way in or out of the backyard was through a door in the garage which I locked so she couldn't get out. Well, I did not count on her climbing the fence. It was quite a while before we found her. I am greatful both our experiences turned out okay and the children were safe.
Speaking of Jessica, she should be having her baby any day now. I will be going down around the 19th of July to spend about three weeks with her. I can hardly wait. We send our love, Aunt Debbie

Beautiful layouts and I am glad Porter was ok!
Amanda, Thanks for what you said about my dad. He is strong. I think you should just pack up your family and move to Colorado. I truly believe this is the best place in the world to live.
