Emmett Finn was born October 27th at 8:01 a.m. weighting 8lbs. 6oz. and measuring 19-1/2 inches long. He has long black hair and long skinny fingers and long toes...he is just the sweetest little bundle of love...He is a cuddler and he sighs little sighs of contentment many times a day.
He's got the cutest little lips which he purses together often.
I can't stop staring in awe at how beautiful he is...he is definitely one of my children and I am so very thankful and grateful he is a physical part of my life and my family now.
He's the only of my kids who was born with long, dark hair...I hope it stays dark!!
Look at those long fingers!! They are so long he leaves his hands open most of the time instead of tightly balled in a fist like most newborns do...I'm so in love!! :)
Things are going well....I got home Friday from the hospital and I'm still recovering slowly but surely...C-Sections are no fun (my personal opinion!!) Lily and Porter are adjusting pretty well...Lily tries to be the big helper and Porter is just very curious...He couldn't believe I actually had the nerve to breastfeed him...He was quite baffled by that one...LOL!! Emmett is a good eater and a fairly good sleeper...He is the easiest of my children to get to sleep...YAY!! Lets cross our fingers and hope it stays that way... :) I do know that Lily is happy to have me home...she sure had a hard time with me being away...she is such a momma's girl!! She would demand to come see me every morning and would beg me to go home with her everyday...Its nice to be home and it's nice to have my mom here visiting as well...she's such a wonderful help!!
I do have to show this picture...it's not the best quality by any means but you can you see "I'm a good big sister" look Lilyhas in her eyes?? She says he's "Awesome!" and she really does try to do everything she can to help...She does freak out when I change his diaper though...she doesn't like that part....LOL!!
Well I must go lay down and rest some more before my new little one wakes up from his nap...More pictures to come!! :)
