T-minus three more days and counting....

Monday is the big day!! I can hardly wait but at the same time I'm a little nervous...I haven't had a newborn in 3 1/2 years!! Either way I can't wait to hug my new little boy and to squeeze his little cheeks...I have everything set up and ready to go except for the car seat but that is going in tomorrow so now the countdown is on.....I swear this week has felt like it's gone by even slower than the past nine months...*sigh*....Maybe I should just sit back and revel in the calm since next week will be crazy...I think I'll do just that. :)

That is one of my maternity photos that were taken by the uber talented Brinn Prowse...I do love how it turned out...simple and to the point, just how I wanted it!

I also made this with some help from my sister in law Elissa for one of the girls in my church that we visit on a monthly basis...I got the idea from this blog...You can stick stuff in that little pocket (we filled it with some candy and what not):



Again, pretty simple but I didn't want it to be too flashy...sometimes that just doesn't work for some people!! I'm ashamed to admit I haven't really worked on anything else!! I've been SOOOOOOOO sleepy which basically equals to a very lazy me...I have the itch to make things but just not the umph to do it...maybe next week... :) I made a Design Team this past week...it's a challenge blog called We Kit U Not and basically I'm representing the Nook by showcasing what they have to offer each month for their kit on their blog...I'm excited for the opportunity - Thanks Kim!!

In other news we had our very first parent teacher conference with Porter's Kindergarten teacher...I was nervous at first but was quickly relieved when his teacher did nothing but praise him up and down...they even want to enter him into some art contests!! YAY!! My boy really does have talent!! I'm so glad he is able to get opportunities like this and am excited for what the future holds...I hope he always loves to draw. Lily is my sweet angel girl until it's time to take Porter to school or pick him up...She always tells me after I drop him off how much she loves Porter but for some reason don't ever want to pick him up but the second Porter gets in the car they just jibber jabber back and forth and then play and play until dinnertime....I love that they love each other so much...I hope they are like this with Emmett as well when he gets older...I have such good kids! :)

Well, it's a short post and for that I apologize but I am weary and I need my beauty sleep...I'll need all I can when I have to tend to a newborn all night!! I'll be posting pics of my new little one as soon as I can so stay posted!! Have a wonderful night everyone!! :)
