How about a bunch of pictures from the past couple weeks??
(Excuse the quality on of these....most of them were taken with my iPhone - speaking of, an iPhone is like the coolest toy ever might I add!!)
Anywho.....
Here is super adorable Emmett who is growing up way too fast (he's 9 months old now!!) He is army crawling all over my house and zooming around in his walker like a race car driver...he can successfully back up, turn around and maneuver himself just about anywhere...so cute!

(he prefers to have his tongue sticking out most of the time)

Lily wearing this adorable little kimono Ben got from a co-worker of his:

Porter acting like a grown up in a suit coat...he pulled this face on his own doing... :)

Ben built an amazing bridge down by our creek....we LOVE it!!

Awww....don't they look so cute on the bridge??

and here is miss Zoey Bird who kept licking me until I took her picture...silly...

I painted my kitchen (thanks for your help Becca!!) The color is called Spanish Olive and I really like how it turned out...the pictures don't do it justice so I'm going to try and take pictures of it again when its not overcast (like it is today)...

We took the kids out to a movie this past weekend (it was G-Force and can I just say...lame?) Well, we had some time to spare before it started and, lucky us, the outdoor shopping area was having a celebration of some sort and in one corner they had little ponies you could ride...now if you know Lily you know she ADORES horses with every fiber of her being...she was IN HEAVEN:

see that face??

Porter just giggled the whole time...maybe it's because I kept shouting "Yee-Haw!!" every time he came around...silly me... :)

OH!! My garden is doing soooooo good!! My tomato plants are gigantic...like a good foot taller than me gigantic....although to be fair I'm only 5'2" so it's not hard to be taller than me....

The tomatoes which have been coming off of it taste AMAZING...we've gotten at least 80 tomatoes so far (mostly the Roma's) and its still going strong!!

I have a watermelon growing....isn't it cute!?!

I also have a couple canteloupe growing....YAY!!

I'm so excited for them to be ripe so I can eat them....man a garden is sooooooo rewarding!!
So yay for some pics!! Our family is doing really well...we just bought a cool wooden swing set for the kids which we should be getting next week sometime...we scored an awesome deal through craigslist for $100 and we are so happy!! We love our house so much (the driveway is another story - but at least it keeps the door to door salesmen away...hahaha!!) Porter is starting school in a couple weeks (man where did summer break go??) and sadly he's not very excited...he feels more anxious about it than anything so it will be interesting to see how it goes...Lily is just ready to have some "me" time back to herself again...they've been fighting alot lately but they do play so well too...right now they are building lego houses upstairs which is music to my ears...I fondly remember doing the same thing with my brothers...I love it!! :)
I have somehow made a couple scrappy things (where oh where did my mojo go??)
I made these using the July Kit from the Nook:

and speaking of the Nook, I'm no longer on the DT....It was time for me to go (I started with them for over 2 years I believe...maybe 3??) and as much as I'll miss being on the DT it'll be nice to just sit back and relax now...You should still check out their August Kit...it's perfect for "TRAVEL" pics....
Anyway, I think I'm going to go make some lunch....I'm starving!! :)

Happy to see how great y'all are doing. I'm so in love with your house. Love the green in the kitchen. Isn't it amazing what a coat of paint will do? So homey!! And I didn't know Ben was so handy! Great job on the bridge, Benji.
Love those babies of yours! All so gorgeous and so much personality! Thanks for the update... I always enjoy seeing what you're up to!
Love ya, girlie!
What a great post. Glad you are alive and your kids are getting so big! How fun to have a garden!
Thanks for my shout out! The kitchen is great!!
I am going to have to come see that kitchen in person.
I am seriously impressed with your mad gardening skills!
I had great plans for a lovely garden this year, I even started sprouting all the seeds in my house while it was still too cold to plant them. Then I started gradually hardening them off to the elements by leaving them outside for a few hours at a time, during one of those times my niece dumped every single little pot out. Sad.
Even sadder was that I was put on bed rest less than a week later so that was the end of my poor little garden.
Your kids are adorable as usual! I love Emmett's little tongue!
Hi Amanda! It's your cousin Lacey! Great job on all of your projects! Your blog is sooooooooooooo cute! I can't believe how big your kids are, they're adorable!
cute post! Love the wall color. Great job chica! I changed my blog so you'll have to change it on your blog. :) hehe. Loves!
I Love the color of your kitchen! And I am definitely jealous of your garden by the way. I promised myself that I will definitely plant one next year! :)
