*Phew*

For reasons I don't care to get into, I just thought I'd let you all know that my life has gotten significantly easier and happier this past week...what does this mean for you?? Perhaps I can blog more about my super cute kiddos:

His first loose tooth:
It took him a week to lose (stubborn little cuss!!) He FINALLY let me try to pull it and when I popped it out on the second try he didn't even realize it was gone until after he walked away from me saying he didn't want to try again...silly!

On a side note, an hour after he lost this tooth it turned up missing (I think the cat knocked it into the sink and down the drain)...Porter was SO worried he wasn't going to be able to get any money for it but thankfully The Tooth Fairy is magic and she "found it"... :)

Porter had an Art fair at his school these past couple weeks...he won 3rd place for his drawing and 2nd for a watercolor painting...they sent those to the county fair and out of all the 1st graders from all the schools in this county he won 3rd place for his painting...He is so talented!!

This pretty girl turned five...

I CANNOT believe this...it seems like yesterday I was watching her toddle all over my house babbling happily...

*Sniff*

I need to register her for Kindergarten next week...I think I'm in shock or in denial over the whole thing...She is SO excited to go though!

I made a dress for her for Easter...I am SO proud of myself!! I think it turned out way cute!

(excuse her clod-hopper boots...I tried to get her to change out of them but a mini-tantrum ensued so I figured- "Do I want a picture, or a tantrum?" As you can see the picture won...I'll get better pics of her in it later when I have her hair all dolled up and cute!)

Did I mention I cut this cute boy's hair?? I regret every second of it when I see pictures like this:
Thankfully I still think he's absolutely adorable with his short hair:
He has recently discovered how much he loves to be outside...He'll go run and get his shoes and promptly sit down and stick his feet in the air and point towards the door...He loves to throw all the balls down the hill and watch Porter (or me) run after them so they don't go into the creek...he thinks its HILARIOUS.
He is such a character...I love seeing his personality grow and develop...he is quite the tease! Whenever I tell him I need to change his diaper he comes running up to me only to swerve the other direction at the last second, laughing as hard as he can so that I have to chase him down...He also loves to hide in my curtains and pop out while saying "Ah-haaaa!!" I love it! He also love to take his sister's toys from her and then right before he hands them back to her he throws them the other direction...Lily doesn't love that but I think its silly!!
I have found a scrappy bug as of late...it has been much needed!!

(Thank you Zarah for the sketch I used on this layout...I LOVED and NEEDED your inspiration!)
I was so excited about those flowers I made for this layout:

I had seen them made with fabric but I figured why not try paper....I love it!
Well, that is all I have for today my dears...until next time! :)

Darling Amanda-
I am in awe of your many talents! The dress is adorable! And your pages are fantastic. I would love to see pictures of Porter's prize winning art entries. That is so exciting for him! Lily and Emmett are just way too stinkin' cute for their own good. You might have to keep them under lock and key!
