Hi there it's me...the large pregnant woman with the huge swollen feet....pretty picture huh!! How about I quickly replace that mental image with a 3D ultrasound of my little baby....wouldn't you say he looks just like one of my kids??

Just so you know, it's all muddled and smeared on the left side of his face because the umbilical cord was right above it making the picture all fuzzy....we did catch a halfway smile though!! We are really excited for him to make his appearance and if you check out my little blinkie on the left side over there you will notice I don't have much time left!! EEK!! I really should finish all my side projects so I can be ready!!
I have spent some time creating... :) I made all of these using the AMAZING October Kit from My Scrapbook Nook...I LOVE the colors and the textures...so much fun!!
This was a card I made for a class at the Nook...I decided to give the old pop-up card a much needed make over:

I LOVE how it turned out!! You can check out the class over HERE...
Then I made this pretty layout...

And another card because this stamp from Cats Life Press is so dang cute!!

(P.S. The Nook is having a contest right now using the October Kit and Cats Life Press Stamps....Check it out!!)
In other news.....Man, have we been busy!! First Ben had his 31'st birthday on the 28th of September...notice our ghetto #1....darn pregnancy brain made me forget to buy candles!! It was a nice relaxing day with some YUMMY red velvet cake...Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Then on October 1st my first born son celebrated his 6th birthday....*sniff*....it goes by SOOOOOO fast!! I love this little boy so much!!

He got that little hat from school and insisted on wearing his blanket like a cape....gotta love dang cute boys!! (Also notice the little candle on the cake?? That was courtesy of Aunt Elissa since Amanda, yet again forgot to buy candles!! UGH!!) It was a good birthday and he got spoiled with wonderful presents...He is very loved!!
A couple days ago I was able to go to Porter's very first field trip to a local pumpkin farm...It rained the whole drive up and we were very nervous about actually being there since it's all dirt and hay...needless to say we got covered in mud and hay...regardless of everything, it was a good day.
Porter listening to his teacher (he's so cute!!):

This is like the ONLY picture I have of Lily smiling...she was crabby alot of the day because she was cold and hungry and refused to let me take her picture...She is still very cute though I must say....

They had a hay ride there and due to my large pregnant state I decided it would probably be a VERY bumpy ride so I opted out of going....this was Porter's reaction:

Doesn't that just break your heart?? It broke mine!! He just wanted me to go with him...Thankfully he was all smiles when he came back and thankfully they came back at just the right time because just as they were unloading from the ride it started to pour...it was time to go home after that!! Good times all around and just being there around all the pumpkins and farm stuff, makes me VERY excited for the fall... :)
Oh! I may have mentioned this before but if not my son is quite the budding artist if I do say so myself...he LOVES to draw and always has a notebook and pencil within hands reach...here are a couple of his latest creations he's brought home from art class (his most favorite time of the day!!)
A Dragon:

A bunch of dinosaurs:

I might be biased but I think he does some AMAZING work for a just barely 6 year old...I'm so proud of him!!
As far as the rest of us we are just doing the same old stuff!! Ben works, I lay down and read and watch movies with Lily (lazy me...) but we are doing pretty good...we got the bassinet all set up and a dresser set aside full of baby clothes so we are now in the ancy-get this baby here soon stage...I'm so excited for a new baby!! The kids are too...the morning after we set up the bassinet, Lily woke up and came into my room where it is and got really excited and proclaimed, "Mom!! You just had the baby already?!?!" I felt bad breaking her excitement when I told her no but it does give me hope for her transition to not being the "baby" of the family anymore...Anyway, life is good...I can't complain too bad besides all the common pregnancy complaints but if I didn't feel all those rotten things, it wouldn't be so worth it in the end right?? That's what I keep telling myself anyway!! Here is peek at my big belly...I got my pictures back from the wicked talented Brinn Prowse...I love how they turned out:

(P.S. I promise I'll post more later!!)
Well I'm off to bed...Lily was up at 5:00 a.m. this morning for some crazy reason...way too early for Mom's!! Hopefully I'll be blogging at least one more time before the baby comes...time shall tell I guess!! :)
